AI implementation · hourly

Put AI into the workflow you already run, with practitioners booked by the hour

For small businesses and teams in Australia: no project contract, no package. Book an hour to clarify the need, then book experts to build it with you and train your team. Every session ends with a written summary.

Expert's session summaryExample (fictional)
  • What we did

Agreed the 14 fields to read from commercial invoices, matched against the customs software. Tested 20 sample invoices: quantity and unit price were correct on 18, and the 2 with handwritten changes need a person to check. Results can already be laid out as a table by field.

  • Next time

Export the results as a CSV the customs software can import, add a highlight rule for low-confidence lines, and run one full day of real documents together with the two data-entry staff.

Before booking

How far a session goes and what your company should prepare

What fits in an hour

Typical pacing from our experts. The real time depends on how ready your data and systems are.

Done in one sessionUsually several sessionsNot a fit for hourly sessions
  1. Walk through your workflow, list which steps are worth using AI for and what to do first

    About 1 hour
  2. Test AI extraction accuracy on 20 sample documents and settle the fields to capture

    1–1.5 hours
  3. Set up Claude / ChatGPT projects and common prompts for a team of up to 10

    1.5–3 hours
  4. Feed AI extraction results into existing software and design a human review step

    2–4 hours
  5. Build a new AI app with accounts, database and payments from scratch

    Dozens of hours or more

Prepare before you book

Sessions are billed by the hour, so have these ready before you start.

  1. One or two sentences on how you do it today and where it gets stuck
  2. 3–20 real samples (documents, emails, sheets) with sensitive details masked
  3. The software you use now, and whether it can export / import data
  4. Someone who can operate the computer and accounts should attend
Vetting and refundsRefunds, how experts are vetted, cancelling and rescheduling

Bookings and refunds

  • Billed by the slot you choose: a 30-minute slot is 0.5 hours, 1.5 hours is 1.5 × the hourly rate
  • More than 1 hour before the session you can request cancellation in My bookings; it then goes to refund processing pending the expert's confirmation
  • If the expert doesn't show up at the agreed time or the session clearly doesn't match, contact support; refunds are issued after we verify
  • AI consulting, implementation and team training currently don't stack membership discounts

How experts are vetted

  • Our team reviews each application by hand, looking at real projects delivered rather than titles
  • AI experts must provide at least one implementation case study (anonymised is fine)
  • After each session learners can rate and review it; reviews appear on the expert's page

We will reply by email to help you choose the type of expert and how long to book first. Leaving a request is free and needs no payment.

A written summary, not "let's catch up later"

  • What was done and delivered this session
  • What happens next and what you should prepare
  • How many more hours the expert expects

Business FAQ

Can we book one hour first to see if it's worth it?

Yes, and it's the first step we usually suggest. Book AI consulting to walk through the process, get a written summary, then decide whether to book implementation.

Can staff join the session?

Sessions are online, so colleagues who need to do the work can join. For hands-on team practice, book an AI for Teams expert.

How is company data handled?

We suggest masked samples, with your own staff operating the accounts so no passwords are shared with the expert. You decide which data to use.

Won't hourly billing keep growing?

After each session the expert writes how many hours remain. You decide by priority what to book next and for how long, and can stop anytime.

Do members get a discount?

AI consulting, implementation and team training currently don't stack membership discounts and are charged at the expert's listed rate.
